The specialists called "Gunners" and "Muggers" sedated the goats with DARTS and captured them in nets and blindfolded them so they didn't know where they were going and flew them on slings to a staging area They're looked over by vets and outfitted with tracking collars before trucked to the Cascades and once again flown by helicopter to their new habitat. It follows years long planning and public comment with 115 of the roughly 725 mountain goats being moved that included KID GOATS about 6 weeks old.
