Enjoy TC, only advice I'd give is finish the deadlines ASAP, you don't wanna get stuck running out of time then having to repeat a couple hours of gameplay.

If you advance the Death confidant, you can get access to some type of mana-restoring accessories that'll let you grind in dungeons easier. A lot of things in the game make it a time management simulator, so anything that scrimps and saves on that end is good. The Temperance confidant does some of that stuff, too.

Make sure you got your game planned out TO A T so you can stay two steps ahead

Avoiding spoilers as much as possible, the best confidants to get and max ASAP for time management are Temperance and Wheel of Fortune.
The least useful one is the Devil, so you can put it off for a while unless you want to see where that story goes.

Just play blind.

You can look everything up and plan a perfect run, sure, but....eh?

I played blind, managed to do a lot of stuff (maxed most confidants at least), and had fun. I think it's more fun to experience things as they come and just enjoy yourself instead of fretting over doing a perfect run.
