I was originally going to watch it a few days ago, but then my brother came over right when I pressed play

When I had first started it up, it was going to give me a recap of the last 2 seasons, and I wanted to watch it, but now that I started the episode again, I cant watch the recap. No option.

Any suggestions?

What I remember being relevant to this season.

Big thing: the rift opened in the previous season allowed a monstrous creature they dub the Mind Flayer to make it into Hawkins. Part of it possessed Will, but Joyce and the others are able to get it out of Will with intense heat. The Mind Flayer is trapped in the Upside Down when Eleven closes the rift. The US government shut down the facility.

Max and Billy were introduced. Billy has a small flirtation with Mike's mom. Max begins dating Lucas. Max learns about Eleven's powers and the Upside down.

Eleven is adopted by Hop and starts dating Mike.

Nancy and Jonathan get together.

Dustin and Steve become friends.

People give Suzie shit for that, but it's not her fault. She had no idea of the stakes.

The conspiracy theory dude is way more at fault because he was so sure of his own intelligence that he didn't bother to ask what the code was.

He only tried that first night. Suzie lives in Utah. If the camp is close enough to Hawkins that Dustin was able to drive home, Suzie either had to fly home or she was still in the car when he was calling.

And Dustin had spent the last day and a half uncovering Russian spies and being trapped underground. The whole season is only over like 3 days since. . .what's her name, the ice cream girl, since she cracked the code in 1 day.

So yeah, Dustin got one night attempt, and maybe in the morning that next day
