PTS Naruto: Kinda, I liked his character there more and hes understandable due to itachi not telling him the truth and wants him killed so he had a big breakdown on wanting more power after getting his ass beat.
Shippuden: Yea, omfg theres a lot of times where I wanted to hit him. Had so much asspulls in his battles too lol
Boruto: Nah, hes way better here now and least want to try being a good dad to sarada.

He's only truly off his rocker during the third quarter of Shippuden (post Itachi, pre-Edo Itachi), otherwise he's just...chaotically ambitious.

Post-war he's pretty chill. That version of Sasuke is probably my favorite character.

I never really liked Sasuke until Boruto.

BTS, he was this edgy dude, where there only times his character shone through was when he started to open up to Naruto (which was really brief)

after the time skip, they made him the boring OP character, but then after he finds out the truth about Itachi and the village elders, especially Danzo, he's just this psycho revenge guy.

I mean, it's all understandable, but I just didn't like his character.

in Boruto, you see that he's this guy who really loves his family, even though he's often gone because of secret missions to keep the world safe, and it's nice to see how much he respects/cares about Naruto, and feels indebted to him.

and him being Boruto's mentor is cool, too.
