Most of these stereotypes about men being emotionally stunted by society just don't exist in my neck of the woods anymore. No one has a problem with wearing pink or expressing emotions.

Sounds like a thing you'd retain in some culturally regressive region, like the worse parts of Texas. Am I wrong?

it's all about context. if you're in a career or environment that rejects vulnerability, you're gonna face these issues. that can occur anywhere.

Just read the article...was fairly interesting, if not a bit demeaning. Sounds like a few women got in over their heads in a few relationships and blamed all men for it, rather than just the guy they were dating.

However, that's not to say men don't have a problem opening up. I think it's more of an issue of men never getting encouragement, personally
