I think it's pretty much the same thing tbh

We all have friends who pick up games super fast and become ridiculously good at them far too quickly, and on the other hand there's people who can't figure out how to steer in mario kart

I see what you're saying. When it comes to video games and sports, there are some people who just "get it" quicker than others. But I still wouldn't say that's an equivalent of some athletes being taller, genetically being more muscular, more flexible, etc.
