Officer Grease Head, Charlie Rispoli from the Gretna Police Department in Louisiana has been FIRED after he and another cop liked a status that Alexandira Ocasio-Cortez should be SHOT!!

He shared the fake news story about AOC on his FB page that said "This vile idiot needs a round and i don't mean the kind she used to serve"

His comment implied that Cortez should be shot while also taking a note of her former job as a bartender

Police Chief Arthur Lawesome called the post "disturbing" and "disgusting" and said "The officer, i spoke to him personally just to try to find out why. I just couldn't understand. I think he got caught up in the moment. This wasn't even a news article

He said both officers that were fired worked as court security and never served as patrolmen and now said the entire police force will go through social media threatening.

Rispoli deleted his FB over the weekend as he shared the fake news article for satircal website Taters Gonna Tate that falsely quoted her thoughts on the budget including that soldiers get paid too much

The official police page was inundated with comments calling for his firing as the scandal comes with a flurry of stories about police officers posting racist comments

They already train you for this. I had a fucking 8 hour class on not being stupid on social media. The big take away was don't mention your a deputy if you post any political opinion, and remember you are a deputy and people are going to say something ifnyou post something stupid.

Probably, but it's going to be tough for them I imagine.

I think she's a misguided sensationalist fool, but I'd never wish for someone to be hurt over non-radical political opinions.

The "we pay soldiers too much" quote is legitimately fake news though, she never said that.

But if people see a uniformed officer of the law threatening lawmakers, they may see that as something that is acceptable to do.

Uniformed officers of the law should uphold our values and represent the behavior we expect out of professionals and should set examples for the civilian populace to emulate
