For a Pokemon that has only existed since 2013 (with the release of X/Y), the only reason I obtained this name was due to this name already existing on GameSpot when X/Y released, so no one could take this name back then. This finally changed in early 2015 when username availability no longer had to be checked against usernames that only exist on GameSpot.

One of the best Gen 1 Pokemon and also one of the few Gen 1's that I care about. I generally care more about Gen 3 and later Pokemon.

It's a toss-up as to which one I like more - Chansey or Blissey.

Blissey is even more cute than Chansey, but there's more of a nostalgia factor for Chansey due to it being very powerful in the TCG back when I played it during the Gen 1/2 era. The Base Set Chansey card could KO a good number of Pokemon from the Gen 1/2 card sets with Double Edge alone and even more can be KOed in one shot with a single PlusPower Trainer card. Though I am also aware of the drawbacks of using Double Edge, which can be worked around using the Defender, Berry, or Gold Berry Trainer cards.

I was just a little bit surprised when I managed to obtain this username along with Latios. I made this username first because I like Latias more than Latios, plus Latias comes before Latios in the Pokedex.

I do regret not taking the username "Popplio" back when the Gen 7 starters were revealed, since it later ended up being my favorite of the batch. Though I was still on the fence regarding Popplio when it was initially revealed, plus Rowlet's strong initial reveal was a factor as to why I didn't take "Popplio" back then.

First time I've seen someone post with a Pokemon Trainer related username. Even then, "Red" is pretty non-specific and could have been created by someone who didn't use "Pokemon Trainer Red" as their inspiration for the account. Not like something such as "Elesa" or "Lusamine" who are very clearly Pokemon related names.

Maybe, but I really don't know for sure. All I know is they aren't my accounts.

I will admit that Pokemon Trainer names is one thing that I haven't based an account on yet. I should have totally made the account "Nessa" when she was first revealed (now it's already been taken). Though it seems as there are some Pokemon Trainer names that are available to be used for an account.

I know with Gmail (not sure about other email services), you can create multiple accounts that all go to the same Gmail address. It involves a trick in which you place any number of periods at any spot within the email address name (before the @ symbol). So if an account was created using the email address [email protected], it will instead be sent to my [email protected] account. I could go farther and do variations of this such as [email protected], [email protected], [email protected], etc and they would all go to the same email address.

Another option is to use throwaway email address (stuff like Mailinator) which allows you to create any email address right on the spot without having to register a new email address. But be aware that GameFAQs does not recommend doing that and they even block certain email domain names from being used to create new accounts. Some email domain names associated with throwaway email services aren't blocked on GameFAQs, but they will cause your new account to be activated at the Pending Review user level unless you change the account's email address before visiting any part of the message boards.

It takes like a minute to make a new Yahoo or Hotmail account. Well I think Yahoo started wanting phone numbers or something which is why I switched to Hotmail. It's been awhile though so I dunno if things have changed.
