Tbh I feel a lot of NEETlogic folks would benefit if it was more socially acceptable to work part time as not everyone needs full time hours to get by. I think most NEETs would be ok with working a day or 2 a week to cover however much welfare gives you but most job opportunities wont even hire you if thats all you plan on working
Even casual and part time places act like giving you more shifts is a reward and that you should be pleased that they are expecting you to come to work on call if someone calls in sick. Its like say if a place was hiring for a casual position and on your available times you only said you only wanted to work 2 or 3 days a week. they most likely wont hire you because of that. So there for a NEETlogic guy who only needs 2 days of work to get by in his 'shitty' life wont be allwed to so then he goes on welfare. ... Copied to Clipboard!

Why did people even start using "Neet" as a replacement for "unemployed"? Did they get tired of the "between jobs" terminology? Really, all these fancy names just mean a pretty simple thing:a person without a job. And people without jobs is the future ahead of us, for better or worse (more likely this one). Might get used to it.

Without money to spend on goods and services you can't keep corporations continuing to turn a profit and the whole economy will collapse. It'll come a time when big corporations as they now exist will cease to be. If the owners of said corporations can secure the means of production they will be able to get everything they have now without needing the masses. Think: why do you need money? To buy stuff you have no access to, be it food, housing, cleaning, etc.. And you still need people to do some of that and to buy stuff from you so that you can get money. But if you can get robots/androids with good AI to do that instead of people the paradigm changes. You stop needing to produce to sell to the masses to get moeny from them.
