No. The most comparable book in this situation would be Doctor Sleep, a sequel to The Shining, which was just complete nonsense and did nothing anyone would had liked to see out of a sequel to that book

Kinda sorta, like Needful Things and Bag of Bones reveal what happened after the events of The Dark Half. The short story One For the Road is a follow up to Salem's Lot and the priest from Salem's Lot ends up being a main character in The Dark Tower series. Doctor Sleep is the only thing in can think of off the top my head that's been marketed as an actual sequel to one of his books.

Black House is a bizarre sequel to The Talisman. Maybe because I haven't read either in almost 20 or so years, but I can't remember anything connecting them other than the lead character, and even then he was much older and didn't really retain anything from the older book.

They were still both incredibly well done stories though (with Black House being one of my favorites from him)

I think they also both tie into The Dark Tower somehow

I forgot all about Black House. There was this big deal about it tying into the Dark Tower series but nothing from it was ever referenced in the final books.

Having read Black House more recently as a sequel, there's a lot connecting them. The other world is a notable part of it, and the ending hints at the third part of the Trilogy, which I doubt we're ever getting :(

If I remember correct, the book hinted that Georgie was afraid of the unknown that might crawl under his cellar.
As for a wake up snack, I think it was more like Pennywise started to roll the ball, leaving a warning that would spread fear and making their meat taste better.

Also a bit of that. Georgie was a little kid, IIRC his youngest victim in that spree, and had lots of powerful little kid fears, including the basement. Not to mention the way he was killed in the book is way darker than the movie - being lured in and teased before having his arm bit off and left to bleed to death in a flood.
