For Age of Sigmar, Flesh Eater Courts. gouls/zombie things with zombie Dragons and things that look like dragons but not?

It brings to the table two of my favorite things, Necromancy and Dragons.

Also the fact they apparently are "godly" tier is a nice bonus.

Yeah, I talked to the Games Workshop guy when I went to pick up the rule book and apparently there are people who my AoS to paint, but not many active players ;/

But in my area 40k has a HUGE following, I mean there was about 8ish people in the store when I went, three of which were new people looking to get into 40K.

I've always loved Warhammer Fantasy's designs, but that shit is too damn expensive and I'm not terribly interested in learning how to play it. Had fun painting some Lizardmen like a decade ago, though... and still kicking myself for not buying all the faction books when I saw them at a thrift store. Instead, I just bought the Lizardmen and Undead ones.

We used to have a local gaming store... but they went out of business.

I was pretty much their only client, and the owner mostly just played that Star Wars minis game

I used to dump a ton of money there years ago, but when White Wolf stopped printing books and the bottom mostly fell out of the RPG market, and then everything shifted to sites like Amazon or Drive-Thru RPG, they gutted their RPG section and there was nothing left there for me to go back to.

Thankfully San Antonio is a pretty good gaming town. Like i said above, there was 8 people shopping in my Games Workshop on a THURSDAY at like 4pm and we have a collectible/comic/game shop that got so popular they had to open a second location with the main having HALF of the floor with tables for people to play TCGs, RPGs, and other stuff. There are others, but they mostly just sell, no community mostly due to size. but one of them did buy the shop next to theirs to had a room for events and for people to rent out(The San Antonio Go club meets there for instance)

I hope it stays like that.

Nah, I like the models but I mostly like the chalice endless spell effect with the ghouls so I'll mostly be running those.... with a couple of zombie dragons of course :D
