there won't be any open positions before October (and even then, nothing is guaranteed). I'm currently doing an internship that ends in September, and I really want to keep working at this company.

Should I just start applying to other companies now, or hold out until a position opens up here? If relevant, I'm a recent computer science grad, and the company I want to stay with is a cybersecurity place.
