I'm white and Irish so my understanding might be off but I thought the general plot was: Draje and his dad still have a "us vs them" mindset. Butg Draje is more open and less intolerant but still fairly intolerant compared to Bo or his kids and in typical sitcom fashion, is usually the bumbling dad learning a lesson. The black culture thing is in his head and he's trying to stick to a stereotype he believes he should while at the same time being at odds with himself because he know that won't let him succeed in the real world. --- Dogs playing poker is the greatest sport of all time ...
