Like LITERALLY.

You spend a month doing whatever to prepare for the impending manditory fight once a month, while doing social stuff around the school with friends to make them more powerful throughout the month during your limited free time. Plus you can fuck someone if you spend enough time with them (but only 1 in Fire Emblem, compared to like 6 at once in P3 >_>).

And obviously the Harry Potter stuff is from having a gothic academy with different factions that compete within the academy.

I still plan on picking it up eventually, but man, I just don't really find that stuff fun.

You can skip all that stuff. Just choose auto-instruct and just rest or grind battles on the weekends until the mission. They really do give you an avenue if you don't want the school stuff >_>

The novelty of the academy stuff wears off after 3 explore trips

Game would have been better off without it. It breaks the pacing of the story and combat up, even if you choose the automation, way too much. The development time and effort on it could have been spent on more important things, like making the story scenes not so disjointed and ugly

The girls aren't nearly as good as the P3 cast

And probably isn't edgelord enough to surpass early-2000s emo kino
