In my experience tons of white people claim Native American ancestry and theyre probably right. My mom told me we have it and tons of other people I know have that exact same story. In the south that is especially common.

She was indicating she was a minority. She is not. Lasa falsely asserted she knew she was not a minority and is simply pandering (aka lying to and deceiving) to her constituents. This is false. As we see even in 1986 (I believe) she filled at least one form out as a minority. We do not know how many others she possibly could have filled out this way, but it stands to be assumed probably many if she filled that one as.

She is not a minority.

The person who did the test for warren stated that she had "cautiously 1 pure blood ancestor from 6-10 generations ago".

If you have a pureblood ancestor 10 generations ago, you will have multiple mixed blood native American ancestors at 6 generations. However, it will be diluted.

The best case scenario is that she had the pureblood ancestor at 6 generations back. Which still makes her extremely not a minority. Worst case 10 generations back which makes her extremely not a minority still. There is no scenario where she magically was a minority. She clearly thought she was cuz she was filling forms out that were not generally for public view. And she kept flip flopping how she filled them out in her life. She was called out as a fake poc as far back as 2012.

Nowhere did she say "I have a little Native American in me". She said she was a Native American. And, it is why she has apologized to the Cherokee nation for claiming it.

Gabbard comes from a conservative background, and it's both her biggest strength and liability. She is really good at appealing to conservatives and ind about issues the left cares about. But the left (rightfully) does not trust her because of her right wing associations. I think she would probably be a president who everyone agreed and disagreed with pretty often, and that's why she will struggle to ever find support.

Wanna know what is crazy. I remember when Obama was president it was every other week another outrage over a police shooting of an African American. Now, it is every other week a mass shooting.

I think the media does create this shit a lot by how they portray the news.

That said, I did give Obama blame for enabling the riots that happened over the unrest against police by the African Americans, so it is fair to say that Donald Trump deserves some of the blame here also. It is, to be fair, not all people who would be motivated by Trump. Like Paddock was apolitical and some others (incel or so on). But, Trump has done a very bad job at uniting the country. The media is largely to blame also, but the divide that Trump has attributed to is partly his blame also.

It would be unfair of me to not say he deserves some of the blame for not trying better to unite the country and come down harder on these attacks.

However, media is definitely a huge problem. Trump is also not responsible for the attacks either.
