It's a shame, cuz I'm pretty damn interested in hearing any stories if they have any.

I used to be Hillary "supporter" (like, I voted for her but as a lesser of 2 evils sort of thing). But Trump seems to be doing an ok job and he's so far been the most anti-war president in the longest time. So I think I might vote for Trump next time around, which would be the first time in my life that I would vote republican.

But if the opposing democrat is Gabbard or Yang... possibly Warren, I might vote for democrat. I definitely won't vote for monsters like Harris. Sanders is ok, maybe I could vote for him too, but he appeals too much to emotion and not enough to practical solutions. Biden is... well, idk, the boring version of Obama, who was way too pro-war and way too anti-immigration.

I literally do not understand how anyone can view Trump positively at this point unless they bought in years ago.

I know the msm likes to phrase it something like "he's a scumbag for talking to Kim Jong Un" but that's a stupid way to think. You have to approach things from a solutions point of view.

then why did he tear apart the iran deal lmao

Well he has a more lenient stance on immigration than Obama.

Created tons of jobs (something around like what, 4 milllion?)

The economy is on an upswing. Granted, the economy is also still heavily influenced by the former president as well. So Obama is still to thank for that too.

Didn't back down when the media was hammering Kavanaugh with very very weak evidence. Doesn't back down to the msm in general. Although admittedly, Kavanaugh is a bit of a scumbag, but the evidence was weak against him and a lesser president would have denounced him.

He's making peace with North Korea which is the start of getting freedom for the people that live there. I know the msm likes to phrase it something like "he's a scumbag for talking to Kim Jong Un" but that's a stupid way to think. You have to approach things from a solutions point of view. "What does it take to free these people?" Not "what does it take to make sure we don't look evil?"

You can't be serious.

I wasn't a supporter, exactly. But I genuinely did have reasonably high hopes for him at the start compared to most politicians he wasn't a career one so I thought he'd be less likely to only care about protecting his reputation. I figured he'd calm his man tits a bit and dial back the crazy.
He's just gotten worse.

For me it was when he realized the wall around the boarder wasn't happening and he just acted like most corrupt politicians: ignore it and complain about something else as a distraction

You must only follow right media to actually believe this.

Which started under Obama. Trump has done very specific things himself to create jobs in the US but also has clear policies or has made clear statements that have impacted certain job growth.

So he's a scumbag, yet he shouldn't be denounced?

He doesn't get credit for this until a peace actually occurs. North Korea has done nothing to change, yet Trump defends KJU's actions now.

Am I wrong? I thought he wanted to re-negotiate the Iran deal and it was Iran who rejected that notion. But I don't know too much about that event specifically, so I might be wrong about it.

Yeah, no offense, but I think your media intake is leading you to really bad takes on what is happening in the US. I'm not saying you have to watch CNN or something, but certainly look around for more neutral news sources.

Was never a Trump supporter but I believe many people have buyer's regret for their candidate of choice if their interests and well-being aren't being fulfilled (for example, unemployment and lack of jobs.)

Obama was FAR FAR worse on immigration than trump

All I recall about Obama's enactments on immigration was putting strict filters on certain countries that terrorists have been known to come from.

No wall, no attempted full country bans, no empowerment of ICE. What's your take? Why is Obama worse?
