Then why did Sega release their Genesis (and arcade) games on the 3DS, with 3D (and did NOT require the New 3DS)?

Sure, Nintendo had their own lineup of 3D NES games, but other than Kirby's Adventure, nobody gave a shit, all because they decided to abandon it when they decided to brilliantly remake the entire games from scratch, instead of emulating it.

Unofficial SNES emulation is a thing on the original 3DS, and it's not great.

I'm also not happy that they put so very little effort into 3D Classics. They did a few good games, then a bunch of random ones, then nothing.

Nintendo's 3D Classics is complete ass except for Kirby's Adventure. Sega's 3D Classics is the best thing ever.

could just make it easier

the ambassador program for the original 3ds gave you 12 free games tho if you bought the system early enough

I transferred my Ambassador status to the New 3DS. And it was 20 games. Not 12.

The SNES Virtual console games on 3DS were far from perfect.
They were only 30fps at the most and had lots of slowdowns.

I still appreciated them though because it was worth it to have a portable device that could officially play SNES games.

I only wished they released more games more often.
