I don't know if I consider Tokyo Drift the best in the series, but it's probably my favorite. Also I still need to see the last one before I can see the new one.

I remember seeing F&F 2 in the theater. I don't actually remember why, considering I didn't watch the first film. Maybe my GF wanted to see it for some reason? Or one of my friends? I forget who I saw it with. Thinking back, it seems like such a weird aberration in my cinema-going track record.

I do remember the movie was better than I expected it to be, though. But it also wasn't so great that it immediately inspired me to go watch any of the other films.

Hobbes and Shaw actually looks like the best F&F movie so far, from the trailers. Though it's been getting relatively poor reviews and isn't making as much money as F&F movies usually do.

Same here. Saw the first one after seeing drift in theatres. Could be the reason why I prefer it. We went to a bar after, got drunk, and sang Tokyo Drift by the teriyaki boyz until we were red in the face. So it's probably nostalgia.

After seeing F&F1, F&F2 was a letdown. But everything after F&F3 is basically a chain of events. You can kinda watch the first three and just stop there, especially since 1 and 3 are completely standalone (and 2 is pretty loosely connected to the first film)
