I worked 12 hours, didnt feel like cooking, so I swing by the Golden Arches.

Order a quarter pounder combo, ketchup only on the burger.

Get home, and start eating. Look down and see nothing but pink.

They wont give me a refund without driving back up, so Im emailing corporate.

Jokes aside, i know you're upset but did you want the refund over the phone? that's not really an easy thing to do. They'll probably just open the drawer and give you cash not refund your card or whatever.

Their quarter pounders are.

But in my experience, they try to make them too fast and often don't cook them fully.

I won't order them, both times I've tried since the change have been undercooked.

I've been refunded for less than that. Ordered a burger to take away, drove home and when I opened it, found it had absolutely no toppings. I was in a pretty fed up state of mind so I binned it and asked McD to refund me the burger and perhaps offer a replacement freebie or two in order to make sure the store had their quality control sorted.

They refunded me the burger and sent me four vouchers. I still have two of them, they're great for free late-night food when work drags on a bit.

Having a slightly pink burger isnt a big deal...if you make it yourself, or get it made at a restaurant. NEVER eat slightly pink burgers from ANY fast food place.

I guess the 250 deaths by medical error that happen every day means all doctors should work for $7.25/hr?

Its not one time. I swear fast food around me has been fucking up every single time. Usually its pretty insignificant, like forgetting an item, or getting the wrong item.

I worked fast food for 8 years, so Im really not trying to shit on anyone. But it shouldnt be that hard to successfully put an order out

This isnt a debate about min wage vs living wage, I just dont want to be served raw meat.

McDonald's burgers are just set on a timer. People aren't going to care nearly enough to pull the burger up earlier than that timer. You can blame the guy cooking it all you like, it's probably just something wrong with the grill.

And wtf were you expecting them to do over the phone? Find your specific order from a half hour ago and refund it without your card being there?

Fast food fails just make me wonder why more people don't just buy tortillas / flat bread and make quick chicken / beef burritos at home. Probably taste better than the chemical ridden diabetes they sell you anyway.
