Hi! I request all who have used melatonin to share how the experience went for them.

How does it work for you?
Side effects?
Better than benadryl?

I sometimes have to go to sleep quite early (before 9) and need something to help me sleep. Benadryl makes me tired but sometimes gives me restless leg syndrome really bad. I'm looking for an alternative.
I do not need a prescription or something that powerful, it's only once or twice a week I need to go to sleep early, and otherwise I sleep fine.

Melatonin helps me get better sleep but doesn't do much to help me fall asleep in the first place.

Do not take Benadryl as a sleep aide you will develop a dependency and then you can't sleep without it.

I use it but only as a catalyst to make my prescription of ambien as effective as possible.

Yeah I don't take benadryl often, as I said it gives me horribly bad RLS most times. But thanks! Unfortunately I need something to help knock me out ugh

I recommend playing a mobile game. A really grindy one that is really boring. 10 minutes of crystal farming in DFFOO at 11pm makes me want to sleep for a century.

melatonin just helps get your body on a normal sleep cycle. benadryl actually helps you get to sleep. take it 3 days in a row and you'll fix your sleeping habits and no longer need to take anything

Yeah I know, but that's what's annoying, it's a Monday night and a thrusday night I have to sleep early! Damn

Good idea, scrolling FB and insta makes me tired but that's typically only late and if I'm already tired. Sigh

Melatonin is the hormone that regulates sleep. Melanin is in your skin and absorbs uv. Seratonin is a hormone in your brain that regulates a shit ton of stuff.

Melatonin makes me have really strong dreams, like my dreams feel way more vivid and real.

I've used it to replace the sticky at times. It feels like it kind of works while feeling like it could be placebo at the same time

he taught me a great technique yesterday for reducing stress and aiding in sleep. my sleep has been wildly bad as i mentioned, but this technique got me asleep within 15 minutes

you gotta look at a clock or stopwatch and breathe in for 6 seconds and out for 6 seconds. do that for up to 15 minutes and you will feel your body relaxing. i got such a great sleep (for me), only woke up once. i was so dead tired that i ended up sleeping thru my alarm and my back up alarm and was almost late for work lol

Thanks man.

I legit wish this would work for me, but I guarantee it would just make me more stressed. I can't sleep with a clock in my available vision, I will do nothing but stare at the clock and as the minutes pass the more anxious I get.
