I just never see Chris playing a scanner like that. Even if it's single use

He was also really lazy with the push on Ulti yesterday honestly. He was doing the Michael Cole "we just love to have fun out there" bit not actually trying to get anyone on it to commit to suspecting Ulti or not.

You line those up side by side and it really feels like a guy who just doesn't want town to lay any suspicions on the table.

I think Han was killed simply because he seemed to be thinking and not zerging, and probably that his first suspicion was right. If you want to remove town that are likely to be relevant to scumhunting he seems solid.

You know better than to think that scum scan reveal immediately wouldn't actively work against town attempting to achieve anything today.

There are a lot of ways to begin a day that aren't just revealing a scan. Even if it's on a guy who hadn't posted yet. In fact I would argue not posting anything would have been better for town

Well let me not pull what chris is doing and not contribute other then his "Scan",

1. Ben (benjamin3740)- hammered Ulti and didnt provide anything that would exspalin why he would hammer their.. i however do not think Ben would do that as Scum.
2. Blade (Meow1000) / Scare (ScareChan)- what i saw from Blade it didnt make me think he was town but i would love to hear from scare before actually putting scare down as scum
3. Brohan (MysticBrohan) im pretty convinced Brosph is scum on the Ulti Band wagon beacuse the rest of his play doesnt suggest that he wasnt just jumping on the train beacuse he was actually convinced Ulti was town
4. Chris (DoomTheGyarados)- lying about hos scan on me, lead the kill on our watcher, not actually contributing today other then his "Scan"
5. Corrik (Corrik7)- one of the people to try to push me to claim when this is obvious a gambit by chris
6. FD (Forceful_Dragon) Has he posted?? If so i missed it
7. Gravy (greengravy294) Pushing to make me claim but not actually trying to do any hunting

If I'm forced to pick, then yeah, im leaning town in this situation. For many of the reasons gravy had mentioned and just the feeling that Chris would sooner lie as town in this spot to push whatever narrative he's trying to achieve than the idea that he was enough afraid of a policy lynch to gambit this way as scum.

Town Chris goes on the attack, bluffs something absurd, does some moving and shaking and then recants the bluff and transitions into a read he got from the reactions to the smoke he was blowing.

I don't see Scum Chris claiming 3 separate roles rolled into 1 unless he was legitimately just fishing for counter claim information. In what universe does that make sense?

Neither situation is a 100% certainty, but one seems more likely than the other.

I might agree with you but last game he was really defensive when masterplum brought it up the idea that Chris might be autoscum if allowed to live a few days. That to me makes me think it's on his mind. He was pretty frustrated about having been lynched for that reason recently too in a game where he felt he'd been obvtown.

This game he hasn't had that same defensiveness either which is weird.
