1,300 students will spend two years bunked up in the Circus Circus Hotel & Casino rooms while the campus dorms are repaired.

Students practically get an entire building to themselves. Floors are co-ed. They get laundry service once a month.

That's pretty cool. Those hotel rooms would definitely be better than what their dorms would've been.

Whose gonna pay for this? College students are some of the nastiest people on earth especially with how drunk and horny they can get and let's not forget the drugs.

That happened to me. Someone fucked up booking students for housing and over booked, so they sent 100 students to live in a hotel off campus for a year and I was in that group.

Honestly, I didn't like it >_> You never hung out with your neighbors at all and the school provided a shuttle to go on campus every hour, but it took like 30 minutes to get there and getting back was a pain in the butt. And you couldn't just bring friends to hang out at the hotel room cuz it would be an hour round trip if they wanted to go back and there was nothing to do at the hotel cuz it was by a highway in the middle of nowhere. There was a pool there which was nice, but no dining hall services unless you wanted to pay for way-overpriced hotel food. So if you wanted to eat, you had to wait for the shuttle and wait another 30 minutes just to get to the dining hall to use your meal plan.

I felt isolated from campus life being a hotel room even though there were students all around. They all just hung out on campus or stayed in their rooms. No one who lived at the hotel hung out at the hotel. I was so glad when I finally got an on-campus dorm the following year >_>
