One last one: GB spell costs are lower in both games, by a small margin for some spells, by a large margin for others, anywhere from 20-75%. Some spells are the same cost.

(GBC is basically made easier in all regards so it depends if you prefer the SNES or GBC grafix)

In March 2001, Capcom Japan announced that Breath of Fire would be ported to Nintendo's Game Boy Advance handheld system with new features and a more "intuitive" gameplay system. The new version includes re-drawn character portraits, as well as a re-designed menu system that resembles Breath of Fire II, along with updated cutscene graphics at certain points during gameplay. Additionally, Capcom added the ability for players to temporarily save their progress at any point using a new "quick save" feature, as well as a new dash button that allows for faster movement through the game. Using the Game Boy Advance link cable, two players may also exchange items between game cartridges using a new trade feature.

Ditto for BoFII.

Everything I have heard leads me to believe the GBA ports are the superior gaming experience.

Evidenced by the fact you won't finish them, if your Dragon Quest topic is anything to go by.

Dragon Quest 1 & 2 definitely look better on SFC than GBC but the translation patches for that version are not bug-free; DQ2 in particular has game-ruining bugs.

The English version of Morher ( aka Earthbound beginnings and Earthbound Zero) was already altered for us dum American pink balls to be way easier and playable than the Japanese version. (Shorter dungeons, run button, etc.)

I want to know if you mean GBA mother brings Japanese mother up to American mothers playability or it makes it EVEN MORE playable than American mother

this isn't exactly true, the run button actually makes the entire game run at double speed, since the NPCs also move just as fast when using it. also, one dungeon near the end of the game was made much harder in the English version
