I will say she had this done a couple years ago, and seems to be maintaining a healthy life style.

Like shes thinned out more AFTER the surgery, so its good shes not just throwing her second chance away

i too know of someone who had heart surgery and lost tons of weight. think they told her she had to change her life because this is her second chance.

so she danced and she kept dancing. shes a zumba instructor now. its pretty inspiring hearing lil bits of her story from friends.

Getting mad at others for getting medical care and not at the system that
A) produces people with these conditions
B) doesn't offer these services for free or a price everyone can afford
C) doesn't offer alternatives that can help them be informed on how to eat healthier in the first place not get that bad, thus helping improve prospects for the next generation and so on

Theres a kid that comes into my work that gets an ALLOWANCE of 30k a year, from his parents. Like dude thats my salary, fuck right off.

And then his dad got him a hella good job, making 40K a year right out of high school.

Theres also another girl I went to school with that drives me nuts. We grew up in a pretty small town, but she lived like a literal Kardashian. She now lives in Hawaii(parents paid for school), and works dive instructor and underwater videographer.

Shit just isnt fair lmao

good post. i think once you understand this better and adopt this perspective, jealousy and anger transforms into pity and sadness, with a desire to want change implemented for the betterment of humanity/society as a whole

Hair, not sure what your journey has been like, but just remember you doing things the hard way on your own accord just shows how strong of an individual you are. focus on the positivity in that and the jealousy of others getting an easy pass melts away overtime until you don't get really jealous at all anymore. i used to be the same but practicing this sort of mindset really works over time. but ya gotta practice

Yeah the world has inequalities but, like, has anything positive EVER came from you getting bitter/jealous/angry about it? I just don't get why you would invest such negativity.

Just hard to think about, when Im quite literally digging through used tissues and what not.

But, Im thankful for my health, thankful to be employed, and not homeless.

As someone who used to cast judgement and be bitter about those who got things easy, I know it's not something you can just change your mindset about in an instant. That's why it's something you have to practice, and the longer you delay and let yourself be a negative-centric person, the longer you let the possibility of your negative mindset influencing your actions, behavior, and decisions that lead you towards only more negativity and misery.
