There's a lot of this is why I voted for Trump mentality in here. Now maybe this dude was a standup guy, did a lot for the community, I don't know, but you can not trust cops in general while also not supporting this fucking shit. Cops have shown themselves to be untrustworthy, but somehow drug dealers haven't, so you end up supporting the drug dealer? You don't have to support either.

It's a shame that 99.999% of cops have no repercussions for their wrongdoings, and as a result people are against them even in instances where they're right like this.

Yep. Some accountability would be nice, more than just a slap on the wrist and paid vacation. With very few exceptions the most extreme punishment is get fired only to get picked up by the neighboring towns PD a few weeks later - what a fucking joke.
