* Colossus gets overpowered in a fight with Draxus. Wolverine buries his blades deep into Draxus's shoulder to try and save his friend from defeat, but gets blasted away by Rocket Raccoon. The next scene has Draxus tending to the 12" deep cuts like they're a minor wound.
* Rogue attempts to steal Captain Marvel's powers (in a scene framed exactly like the flashback from the X-Men cartoon), but is easily shrugged off. * Magneto and his Brotherhood of Mutants challenge the Avengers and are defeated in the cold open of an Avengers movie. Hulk nonchalantly utters, "bad kitty," after throwing Sabertooth through a department store window. * The Skrull invade Africa. Storm uses her lightning powers against a Skrull warrior, but is defeated. Black Panther comes in and defeats the Skrull warrior with no apparent difficulty or special powers. ... I honestly wouldn't put it past Disney since, outside of their own lineup, the X-Men movies have been the strongest ongoing force in superhero cinema.
