It's fun so far. I literally only ever played Duel Links, so this is my first time playing "real" Yugioh >_> The story mode is fun but man, the presentation is barebones. Duel Links had character voices and everything while this is just text and portraits. The music is also kinda eh so far. But otherwise it plays fast and it's easy to navigate through everything in the duel

And on Switch? I played it a bit on PC it's okay. From what I know there's no way to give the CPU a custom deck so you're limited a bit to either online or else battling the same decks.

btw the decks you're given in the story duels are pretty based on luck for some of them. You might want to build your own deck. It's not cheating to use this:

It has a list of what cards are in what packs and what character (I think) you have to beat to get them.

For a beginner deck go for a beatdown deck and counter traps/spells. Ignore the stuff like snychro, etc.
So stuff like 4 star normal monsters with 1900 attack, 5-6 star normals with 2400+ attack. Effect monsters are nice too if they don't have major weaknesses.
