I hope that makes sense. What I mean is, I have a good job now but I would like to look out at what else is out there. Years ago when I was looking for a job I used sites like Indeed and Careerbuilder and all that. But are there different resources available to someone who has a job/experience already?

connections is the short answer.

if someone good that works in the same field can recommend a recruiter, that's also the way to go.

they'll talk to you about your skillset and what you're looking for and help filter through potential jobs, and make sure your current employer doesn't find out.

at the same time, i work in tech and there are other ways to do it. i think i used hired.com last time. finding a job is so much easier when you have stuff on your resume

You did indeed stab me in the back. However, you are only level one, whilst I am level 50. That means I should remain uninjured.
