'Need a hand, bub?' And out come all the Xmen behind Wolverine. Literally all of them.

Then another portal spawns and someone comes out and says,

'Would you like 4 more?'

And its the F4.

And then yet another one opens up, and its Deadpool, and he says,

'You're in big trouble now, Cable. Or whatever your name is.'

I think people would faint.

And then from another come Mickey and friends. And from another Sora, who joins up with Donald and Goofy. Another, out comes FF characters. Finally, from the last portal comes a giant ball: the Smash logo.

I like that idea TC, it has a super fun comic book vibe to it.

Not to say that what we got didn't already have a comic vibe (it reminded me more of what they had in the Civil War books, with lots of supers fighting everywhere) but it just would have been even more of that.

I'm sure a casual audience might be like "who the hell were all those other people?" even more so than viewers who maybe didn't recognize everyone already.

For real tho I would have took a shit right in the aisle if the defenders walked out of a portal. That connection would have meant everything. I wouldnt care if there wasnt a single line of dialogue for them either. Just to see my boi Iron Fist clobber one of Thanos goons into the Hudson River.

I'm picturing this right now. Because there are a lot of X-Men. A LOT. And that's assuming you just count them and not any of the hundreds of spinoffs. And also there are a couple current MCU characters who are part of the X-Men.

So I'm basically picturing all those portals opening, and then one HUGE portal opening bringing in an army bigger than everyone combined from the previous portals.

And then yet another, right next to Cap.

A flash of a sweater.
