Board 8 > What must-play indie games have come out this year?

So far played Ape Out (which I loved) and Baba Is You (which is really cool, though I'm not great at puzzle games)

planning on picking up My Friend Pedro at some point. Any others to look out for?

It's a 90s internet simulator crossed with a detective game. There's a plot, which I enjoyed a lot (but wish lasted longer.)

it kind of gives me a similar vibe to Her Story (though probably a lot more light-hearted than that)

I always like survival horror in theory but rarely have the willpower to see them through

Umihara Kawase Fresh except not because Nicalis are bastards that don't put switch games on the eshop what the hell

Fight Crab (currently on booth.pm and itch.io, coming to steam and switch when it leaves early access)

And extremely seconding hypnospace, her story doesn't begin to compare really

Oh yeah and pikuniku was this year too, that's kinda nice if you like games like say wuppo for instance (though it's kinda barebones compared to it)

Streets of Rogue is terrific as well

Really enjoying Dicey Dungeons at the moment. The combat is quite simple, but it's addictive.
