I have been trying to get into anime lately mostly cause my friends watch, but I haven't ever watched anything.
One thing I don't get (maybe it is a Japanese cultural thing) is that often characters will ask other characters (usually their teacher) to send pie. It is usually completely out of the blue even when they aren't talking about food or desert. I figured it was a running joke of some kind, but I can't find any reference to it online. Does anyone here watch anime and know why they ask their teachers to send pie? ... Copied to Clipboard!
