There's a whole lot of ****ing!

Like, I was not expecting this much. I thought The Killing Joke had a lot, and that was just one scene. They're ****ing after every scene! WTF!

The problem with the fucking in Killing Joke wasn't how much of it there was, but who it was with.

Okay, just finished. It was okay. I heard the comic is good. Some scenes felt weird.

The ending made it clear what the movie was trying to go for (to emphasize the importance of Batman's code), but I feel like the scenes that were supposed to add up to the conclusion fell short. You don't see too many scenes addressing it (and when they did, it was kinda minor).

The only scenes that come to mind regarding the importance of his code to himself was:
-When Catwoman pushed Lois off the building and Batman told her she didn't have to do that (they ****ed after this, I think).
-When Catwoman was gonna skewer a dude with her claws, but Batman grabbed her before she could and really didn't say anything, just gave her a "NO" look (they ****ed after this, of course).
-When Batman beat the crap out of the Joker, and Gordon was telling him to stop because he wouldn't be Batman if he killed people and Gotham needs Batman (they didn't **** after this, THANK GOD).

But the "discussions" happened really fast, so you don't think too much of it.

As for the villain, I didn't really understand him and I feel like there weren't a lot of clues being dropped for you to guess who Hush really was.

And yeah, all the ****ing was weird. Overall, maybe a 6/10?

Yeah, no, that was weird too! BUT, DUDE, PO! I was there when it premiered at Comicon, YEARS AGO. When that happened, everyone was like WTF? I missed the questions portion because my friend was tired and wanted to go home. Damn, I should've just stayed.

Without having read the original story, agreed. Totally agreed.

Speaking of, meant to post some remarks on Hush a while back because I saw some Facebook ads comparing the comic art to the cartoon and good fucking god, why did they do that? When your animated film looks like crap compared to the original comic, you do NOT want to drive that home.

Shortly after that, I watched a bunch of clips from the film and it seems like they pretty heavily changed a few things.

In the original comic, iirc Gordon shot Batman to get him to stop

I just went to do a quick check.

Apparently, A LOT of things changed.

The movie was going through a lot of classic Batman villains, so I was surprised when I didn't see some. Apparently, they appeared in the comics. Hush is revealed to be someone different in the comics too. I guess they were trying to give comic fans a nice surprise too? Still made no sense to me. Not enough clues to justify it.

And Robin is an issue? He hangs out with Nightwing a lot. Damien is Robin in the movie, but he plays no role except for shaming Bruce over how Damien was conceived and not to make the same mistake again. Really though, all the Robins confuse me. I don't know why each one always has to be a Robin. Is it to make the public think he always has the same sidekick? If I were any of the Robins, I'd want my own name.

The artstyle in the movie seems to match more of the modern artstyle they've been going for in all of the DC animated movies. I didn't even know all the movies are tied together until Lex Luthor talked about the Justice League.

The problem with most of the recent animated movies is that they're all based on the New 52 versions of the characters and stories, and the New 52 is hot garbage.
