Well Wonder Woman was critically acclaimed, Aquaman got decent reviews, and Shazam got great reviews (actually that's a great WB movie from this year, forgot about that one). DC films have already been turned around, this just cements it. I think my mistake is that I was holding DC to Marvel's standards, and to me, DC hitting a high note was essentially the same as what others considered to be a Marvel low note. And as a DC fan, I just didn't consider that good enough. In my mind, it didn't continue the trend set by WW. With Shazam and now Joker, Joker is what solidifies it as an upward trend.
