I really liked the first one. Been wanting to get the second game, but I wish there was a "Gold" version. It has several DLCs and combo packs and I just haven't scrutinized it long enough to figure out which shit I need to get to make sure I get the full game.

Is it one of those games where everyone's super move is the same combo? I dont know why but I hate those.

I can't speak on the second, but the first had many moves that you'd acquire through playing the game and built your character however you liked. When you'd create your character they would have certain strengths and weaknesses like based on race, and some powers might have restrictions. Just as an example, you'd obviously need to be a Saiyan to use the Super Saiyan ability. Otherwise, it's just a matter of collecting the skills you want to use and applying them to your character.

Anyway, more to the point, I thought the game had quite a bit of variety.

I presume the sequel is probably a lot more of the same.

It's a lot funner than I thought it'd be
budokai tenkaichi 3 for the wii was also really fun
the motion controls on the switch are a step back, they're just easier to implement
