I'm talking about Leninism's idea that the decision of a referendum is binding on all members of the party. So if 40% think one way and 60% the other, the 40% have no effective recourse, as either forming a new party or further advocating their position is banned.

You realize you dont need to be apart of a party to run for president right?

In that situation she would still run as president, just not apart of the DNC. Pretty simple stuff.

That does seem a bit unreasonable in the American system, but that just means we're back to you not understanding that not everything in the world works like in America. You're also boiling a more complex issue down to "if they disagree on just one thing ever ever forever ever"
