I have a theory on how we can actually accomplish this.

For quite awhile there has been a theory that there are multiple realities/universes, an infinite number in fact, and because of this any reality that we imagine, actually exists somewhere. This includes places like OZ, the marvel universe, DC universe, Star wars etc, they all exist out there.

So my proposal is simple, we play a game on gamefaqs, each player on here, chooses one fairly famous character from fiction, could be someone like superman, batman, spiderman, Dorthy, Mickey Mouse etc. Anyone from any fictional universe. Then we create secret wars III. Basically I will act as the god of this fictional universe and roll dice for outcomes, everyone that enters, appears in a fictional city, and must battle each other until only one remains. The winner gets powers in THIS reality. The ability to shapeshift into any form with the same amount of mass. The shifting is painless (you disable the nerve endings before starting), and you can heal wounds in the process since you can change the shape of organs etc.

To balance things out a bit though, all the players will be ariving into the city from their original respective realities, and this universe has some differences...that will help balance out abilities. There is no yellow sun for instance, but more of an orange sun, still boosts Superman, but not as much (takes him longer to power up and if he is in darkness long enough he can lose his powers, he isn't totally invunerable to all types of damage etc). Depending on who you choose, I will let you (and only you) know of the differences caused by this universe.

It will also boost those who are really weak, or enable them to come through with objects that will give them some ability to defend themselves (again I will let you know directly). Every player should have some chance of winning unless you purposely choose someone that doesn't.

I think we need at least 10 players to make this work, so it will only start if we have that many.I'd say over 30 players would get too confusing though, so lets have that be the max (first 30 to post saying they want to play gets in).

Who knows, we could actually end up giving a POTDer the ability to shapeshift. I only ask that if it does work, you let us know!!!! *hehe*

Anyway if you would like to play, post on here and let me know. IF you don't care who knows the character you will play, you can post that as well. IF you want it to be a surprise, then wait till we get at least 10 players and PM me at that point (I'll post that the game is official at that point)

So a group of us just need to create that universe/competition, and then the winner will gain the ability to shapeshift.

It's along the same lines of playing DnD and having your player characters enter this world/universe and confront the players directly, but...in this case, you don't confront the players, you GAIN an ability for the prize of your character winning:)

It could also just take a group of people believing something is possible to make it happen as well. Tons of ways this could actually end up giving someone the ability to shapeshift!!
