same, Mainly because single player games generally have clearer cut endings where I am ready to move on. And are less likely to employ predatory psychological tactics to keep me playing even though I've had my fun.

move all remaining groundhog mercenaries to the front lines. Have sheep troopers squadrons A and B flank the cows. They're using DC-17 hoof blasters.

Same. It's pretty rare for me to keep going back to an online multiplayer game. Mount & Blade: Warband is pretty much it these days. Ghost Recon 2 and the first Gears of War were a blast at the time, but that's about it.

Ah yes! Anthem, Destiny, Destiny 2, Fallout 76, Fortnite, Overwatch, etc....the biggest, most worthwhile games anyone should spend hundreds of hours grinding on because YAY there are human players on the internet that I need to destroy and be better than!

there's a lot to unpack here

first of all the only 2 actual competitive pvp titles on that list have no grinding whatsoever except to unlock cosmetics

secondly the desire for competition against peers is, i would say, a far more healthy and human thing than to want escapism i.e. single-player games

thirdly the implication that a sense of accomplishment from beating other people at something is necessarily bad just makes it sound like you're butthurt about having no skills in life whatsoever, not even irrelevant nerdy ones :/
