Tina Lewis from Texas says she was DENIED service at a Nail Salon because she was TOO FAT!!

She wanted to get a pedicure done on her feet but a worker said they couldn't service her because of her size and that she might break one of the chairs!!

She said "Are you serious?I'mtoo big to sit in the chair?" who had gone to Rose Nails for a pedicure that day

She went with her mother and was seen on camera speaking to an employee

Marie Bui, an employee admitted thatshe was the one who turned her away and said "My spa chair is very small." and that she wasn't trying to be mean but that she had to draw the line after another heifer broke their previous chair

Tina complained stating she saw another large person being taken care of a week before and that her denial was personal

She said "It was like, very disrespectful. To me, i thought it was discrimination."

Dailymail reached out and a woman who answered denied it was the same establishment

The salon sits at a nondescript strip mall, sandwiched between PJ'sFish and Chicken and Greens Tobacco Shop

Legally, the law is on Marie's side as it is a private business and they can DENY a person for whatever reason as long as it's not protected according to New York attorney Julie Hyman who is not representing Lewis

Julie said "However, i don't know if i would have chosen that option. Sometimes the chair is meant to die"

as a fat person, you just need to accept you can't go anywhere you damn please due to being too spaciously wide and weighty. Unless of course you intend to start drama or make others uncomfortable...

I am with the store here.

It seems that the chair of what she wanted isn't those big red ones and are smaller ones. If someone broke it before then I can see why they would be worried.

Also she did that to herself. This isn't like someone was some disorder that they couldn't help. And I saw this bigger person. Lose weight then come back and get your toes done.

Used to be, if you were so fat that you broke chairs in public, you'd go home covering your face and get a gym membership. Now, you go on TV and blame the business for not accommodating your disability, fat acceptance, what a great idea.

I was so grateful when theme parks started putting test chairs outside the rides. Sure, I might be able to force myself into it, but it ain't going to be comfortable. That ride isn't for me then, and I go about my day. No harm, no foul.

Hell, I work with a woman bigger than that, and she sits on one of those crappy plastic and metal chairs in the break room no problem.

I really don't have much sympathy for obesity caused problems.

Buisness owner is in the right. Some chairs aren't meant to hold a lot of weight and a spa chair sounds like the sort of chair that would priortize comfort and aesthetics over durability/carrying capacity.

Plus they said they had a chair break under an obese women recently.

The day obesity is a protected class in the same manner as sex/race/etc is the day the country completely gives up on being healthy.
