Thank you Disney for finally releasing this movie in 4k so I could justify repurchasing it and getting rid of the DVD copy.

I went a long time without buying any movies and by the time I said "You know what, I want a new copy of Ratatouille" I knew a 4k re-release was inevitable at some point, so I saw zero point in paying to buy a Blu-Ray combo pack with another DVD copy and figured I'd just wait for the 4k/Blu-ray combo pack which is now out, along with a bunch of other Disney movies.

I might actually get Inside Out and The Good Dinosaur as well.

Sound quality and being in 4k (even upscaled 2k) will absolutely blow any DVD upscaling out of the water.

Beavis & Butthead Do America is the movie I most want to see released on Blu Ray... preferably as part of a complete collection.

I can't believe they released a "Complete Collection" of the entire series and the movie on DVD in 2017 that didn't even include everything lol.

Wish they'd do a Leverage Blu-ray collection.

As it is, only the one DVD collection they released has the commentary.

Honestly considering shows from now are still getting released on DVD (even though they air in HD!) I would not place any hope in it ever happening. Obviously the money isn't generally there for a full conversion to Blu-rays for TV show seasons.

What they did with the X-Files ia galling. I had to buy the British box set of the entire series, then bought the Blu Rays of the two movies, took the discs out of their packaging and placed them inside the collection in their appropriate chronological position. It seems like a big oversight considering the first movie is part of that show's convoluted canon storyline, and actually more enjoyable to watch than most of the canon story episodes. Anyway, at least it's not a damn DVD.

I've been catching up on a lot of Disney movies I haven't seen in ages because of the 4K format. Like TC in the case of Ratatouille, I've just been waiting for the best opportunity to see the movies so I don't have to buy them again. My household has only ever had VHS copies of Aladdin, The Lion King, Beauty and the Beast, and the Little Mermaid. I'm going to get a lot of the old Pixar movies, and of course the newer ones (haven't seen Inside Out), and probably some of the new Disney movies I haven't seen like Frozen and Zootopia.
