Honestly this kinda is what happens with me. I don't really "seduce" them. But if my interviewer is a dude I can usually just assume I am not getting the job.

I set phone interviews sometimes and then I look up the company online and see a lot of negative information about them or they sound sketchy, so I just decide not to do the interview

that or they try to pursue you and you feign interest and never return their calls.

companies have seen an increase in this happening and its direct response to how they treat applicants.

I got ghosted from a phone interview once, set a time and date and everything. Even called and left a voice-mail and e-mailed em when they didn't call. It was pretty shitty to experience.

Anyways, I don't think I could ever just ghost a potential employer like that, it can be a small world depending on your field of interest and can really bite you in the ass later.

I had another situation in where they gave me an interview, a tour, a paper application even though I already completed one online with references, a license/certification pertaining to the profession in picture form, and some other shit. The last e-mail I heard from them was that H.R. was still processing my application

It's been six months.

Fucks.
