I think it was pretty easy to see from the game list and the previews that came out a month or two ago, but out of the box this is the best mini console released so far. 42 games emulated with the help of M2, some of which are rare or never got US releases. If you change the region on the console you get that region's box arts on the main menu screen which is super rad. IGN recommend picking up the 6 button genesis controller that's sold separately, but since it's all USB plug in I'm betting the controller I'm using for my PS1 Classic will work just fine.
The only thing is hopefully it's as easy to hack as all the rest of the mini consoles so we can add back in the games that are missing like Sonic 3 & Knuckles and Ecco 2 just to name some big ones. They've already managed to get into it and are in the process of working on a user friendly hack. It's just slightly slow going since most of the people working on it are in Europe where there was a shipping delay, so only a few people are working on it right now. Got mine from Amazon yesterday. Played a little Strider, Wily Wars, and Contra. Seems pretty good!

Ecco still great. Still the scariest game to play as a kid Having to hold Start 3 seconds to bring up the system menu is kinda weird, but with the lack of buttons I guess I understand it Hoping the 8bitdo sn30 pro+ gets a firmware update soon to support the Genesis Mini --- ... Copied to Clipboard!
