In the mid 90s, many places were managed better because managers weren't afraid to bark orders and stay on employee's asses to get them in line. This generation, especially the person reading this making the "REEEEEEEE!" sound, think that hard work and getting barked at is MEAN and not allowed! So it makes since that anything that requires a timely or strong effort would be done less efficiently these days. It is only gonna get worse. At the end of 2031 they pass laws that prevent robot workers from taking so many jobs and that new generation is the last one before society collapses in America.
