Haven't bought from here in like 4 years, and all the sides are the same price as the pizza now.

Looks like all that stuff Papa John said about them chagring less if a republican was in office was balogna. That was, like, the only conceivable pro.

Pizza pricing was competitive for a while. Mostly when Little Caesars came back into business, their hot and ready $5 pizzas were killing it in my area. Dominoes and Pizza were trying $7 and $9 carryout deals and it still wasn't enough. So their solution was just to raise prices for their loyal pizza fans.

Just having one pizza delivered now can cost well over $25 bucks. Then you have to tip. The big thing now is they gouge you on delivery fees and state that it is absolutely not a tip. Isn't the whole point of tipping is so there's no fucking delivery fees?

I havent ordered pizza delivery in years now. The delivery is just nuts.

If I just want say Dominos and a pizza for just myself or like 2 or 3 people the pizza costs like $8.

But with deliver fees its like 50% more, by the time you factor in tip its 100% more. Its ridiculous.

I suppose standard I would order like $15-20 worth of food(Maybe a couple pizzas and then wings or breadsticks). With tip and delivery fee its still 20-30% more in costs.

May as well just drive down the street and pick it up.

I usually get the Toppers deal where you can 2+ Pizzas/Topperstix for $9.99 each. And I typically pick it up so I only spend like $22 in total. And it's way, way better than Domino's or Pizza Hut.

If you guys have a Toppers near you ,give 'em a try. The secret menu item of Chocolate Baconstix is something else.

My years-long take: Little Caesars is absolutely fine for the $5 price. Hell, if you have the app, you can add a 2-liter soda for free. An entire pizza and 2-liter soda for $5 might be the best deal in all fast food.

I just had Pizza Hut for the first time in years and couldn't really discern a noticeable jump in quality.

The primary thing about Little Ceasar's is that if you don't get it fresh out of the oven, the quality will usually take a huge nosedive.

Fresh it's fine, and a fucking fantastic deal. Not fresh, and I'm not sure $5 is a fair price.

This is 100% true.

Dominos is great and quite fair on price if you get carry out. I would never do delivery though, thats crazy. I find it hard to believe how anyone can justify delivery any more. The difference in price is so big that theres no way the convenience makes up for it.

Especially since chain pizza manages to complete the following criteria.

1. Taste like Pizza
2. Doesn't make you sick eating it.

I agree with this. Domino's is my favorite of the chains by far, but I'd opt for Caesars over Pizza Hut and Papa John's. From a cost vs. quality perspective, the latter two just aren't worth it in comparison.

I hated fast food pizza for a long time until I realized the 2 toppings you can get for Dominos 5.99 medium pizzas can both be pepperoni.

Half the time the kitchen just throws multiple handfuls of pepperoni on there and you end up with an absurdly glorious amount. Pepperoni is the 1 good ingredient they have so it ends up being pretty good, and cost effective.

When I did Toppers delivery a few weeks ago, it cost me $30 (including tip) for what I'd pay $22 carrying out. The thing is, I was in no mental state to drive properly, so I had to get it delivered. I needed my comfort food. That's the only justification. Also Toppers just texted me saying the deal is changed for the next week: BOGO Pizza OR Stix. I suggest y'all try that! Good way to spend $15 on a lot of food.

Agreed with Little Caesar's requiring to be fresh, but that really applies with ANY big-chain pizza.

Other big chains are made to order. Little Ceasar's is not. Ergo, if you're not getting $otherChain pizza fresh, you fucked up somewhere yourself. If you're not getting Little Ceasar's fresh, that could be completely out of your control.

Allow me to clarify that I was referring to when it gets stale if you get it delivered and it's not kept fresh in the interim. That's also out of your control.

It does, yes. It makes any big-chain pizza taste similarly disgusting to hour-old Little Caesar's. Same kind of thing holds true for - and this is a Wisconsin thing - Rocky Rococo slices. The fresher, the better. And Rocky's is way more expensive than Little Caesar's.

It's why I always try to make things to order for carry-out. And with this Toppers BOGO deal, yes please! I'll order something soon. (Stix, probably)

It used to be that they baked the cost of delivery into the pizza, but they realized they can advertise the pizza at a lower price and make the cost of delivery up with a surcharge.

It's been a great development for those who bother to do carryout. You can still get carryout at like 2005 prices.

what I love doing at LC is ordering two orders of crazy bread (which is one pan)

ask it for fresh

then ask for double butter and double cheese

its horrible but still amazing

I usually ask to have it served in a box

I think its like 4 or 5 bucks for this

Little Caesars crust is so thin, it reheats really well.

If its cold from the fridge, microwave for 10-15 seconds, not enough to warm it just enough to soften it, then pop it straight onto a cold oven rack and turn it to 350.

Before it even hits 350 its good as new.

People asking why you would ever pick delivery over carry-out but delivery is the only option for me because I live in Chicago and I don't have a car. I'm not spending an hour round trip to pick up some crappy pizza, I'll pay the dumb delivery fees.

This makes sense.

That you'd order Jet's while living in Chicago, with places like Giordano's and Lou Malnati's everywhere, does not.
