Rubber bullets, tasers. Surely an organized, protected military base isn't going to consider lethal force first on it's own nation's citizens, before any other options.

You don't need a bulletproff vest to endure the hits of rubber bullets. Tasers are difficult to use at long range because of accuracy issues. What other options are there besides real force?

If you don't think getting hit with 2 or 3 rubber bullets isn't going to put you on the ground crying like a bitch, you need to read up on them more, lol.

I mean that with some kind of helmet and protective clothing you can endure them because they have weak penetration force. Of corse, if you just go in in a t-shirt or sweater you'll go down easy.

Yes, the lack of penetration and killing someone is the purpose of the round, I don't know how many of the Anime fans that spend most of their time in front of a computer are going into this head to toe in tactical gear prepared to endure such a thing. The impact is comparable to being shot with the velocity of a real bullet.

President Thomas Whitmore (played by Bill Pullman) says something like "Exciting? People are dying out there, I don't think "exciting" is a word I'd choose to describe it.".

They're completely disorganized, some streams are reporting a few dozens while others are reporting hundreds. Dunno if these groups will ever merge.

I didn't feel insulted, just realized my post made me look like a dick to anyone that didn't get the reference.

Post #2 may not have even been intended that way but I read it in Spiner's voice and felt compelled to reply, for some reason.

I really want them to expose a lot of government secrets. Governments should be transparent with their citizens.
