He did an AMA on the politics sub, and one of his answers about how Americans will turn in their guns because the government tells them to, is currently at -10k downvotes lol. Most of his other comments have thousands of upvotes too, so I'm not entirely sure it's brigading.

If that actually happens, it need to be a "going forward" approach, not an approach like "Remember that thing you saved up for, and then spent a lot of money on? Give it back, you have no choice"

They need to consider a lot of factors before putting something like this into action. A big thing to consider is the mentality of the firearm owners.
