yes if it's across the street from a legit sub shop then i'd go to the latter but that's not too often in the burbs

They used to be so many locations. I remember there being 4 Subway locations in a 2 block radius around 57th st in Manhattan around 2008.

Now they aren't as common.

For the price it's fine. It's a decent amount of ok tasting food for $5-6.

Yeah. Im gonna lose my shit if this place I frequent ever closes. I eat there once a week minimum and when I go I also buy 2-3 salsa containers with home made chips. Store bought salsa is pretty much inedible

Subway is my favorite fast food restaurant. Don't feel bad that the rest of the world has a worst taste that you.

I've got quite a few within a few miles of me, and only one of them is any good;
One place skimps heavily on the meat (will spread a single piece of bacon over a footlong. Sometimes has given up to 2 strips),
Another place that has hard as rock bread (as well as rude staff),
and another that, the only time I visited, had subs that tasted like paint

The last one is a few miles out of the way (only recently found out about it), but has a big seating area, nice staff, soft bread, and is actually generous with the meat (Got a chicken/bacon sub the other day, and they put 4 strips of bacon on a half-sub)

It's still no Firehouse subs, but it is possible to find a nice subway
