Computer gamer 1982-2000, gave up the PC horsepower race when I realized that the latest motherboard, processor, video card, 3D accelerator, etc., was obsolescent pretty much immediately after purchase. Consoles are good for several years, and games are pretty much guaranteed to run acceptably. Besides, I hate Windoze. I have a 13 year old laptop for printing invoices, a tablet for email and web browsing, a streaming Bluray player for Netflix. I still buy all the latest Nintendo consoles (eventually, never on launch) and get about a dozen or so games for them. I even got a PS3 in 2012 and about 8 games for it, but all multi-plats are on PC for me. That said, for the last year I have mostly been winding down on my gaming in general. All I have been playing seriously are Yakuza (0, Kiwami, and Kiwami 2), Assassin's Creed Odyssey, and Wolfenstein 3D. --- I am a senior software engineer. In quotes because a lot more errors pop up on PC you need to fix to play games but I already own a PC and steam makes it too easy.
