Necron is supposed to be the true enemy. If you pay close attention during the game, you'll see all the hints that.......Necron was pulled out of someone's ass.

I really liked FF9. It had great creature designs, fun characters, and cool summons. I made it it to the end, beat Kuja, and Necron was like, "Imma fight you cause I want to". I beat him and saw the ending. The end.
