To be fair, it's not really the best to trust in science since they always end up wrong in the future once those future scientists learn more about certain subjects

Regarding trees, the US is absolutely loaded with trees. Even in developed areas like cities and whatnot, we have trees coming out of everything.

In most places, having a tree in your yard makes your house worth substantially more money.

I'm in Missouri, a red state, and we've got tons of forest land. You can drive on some of these highways for hours and you'll be surrounded by trees 90% of the way.

America doesn't have a tree shortage. Maybe some areas do, but not the nation as a whole.

I think a lot of people are misinterpreting her strategy. It isnt to change the minds or melt the cold hearts of world leaders. Its to tug at the heartstrings of the commoners. As she is doing it in a venue that is clearly in front of those leaders, they are forced to either make it look like theyre doing something, or look like assholes to all the people who had their heartstrings tugged. Using her as a spokesperson also makes any detractors to what she says look like an asshole.
