From what I've read the Metropolis anime is significantly different than Tezuka's manga and is more heavily influenced by the Fritz Lang film, so I'm not sure it's very accurate to call that an "Osamu Tezuka work."

I've only seen a few of the dude's short films. Jumping is really cool.
